A rewarding opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and engaging Classroom Teacher to join our community at St John the Apostle Primary School. To be successful in this role, you will have the passion and expertise to create an optimistic, inclusive, supportive student-centred classroom learning environment with high expectations. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the capacity to develop productive, collaborative and caring relationships with students, parents and staff. Additionally, you will possess a sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and the ability to organise, select and design content for highly engaging and effective teaching and learning.

Please note that this is a part-time temporary position commencing 5 March 2020 to 18 December 2020. A pro-rata salary amount will be paid for part-time appointments. Additionally, note that this position is temporary in nature as it replaces an employee on leave or secondment.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
