An excellent and rewarding opportunity exists for an Classroom Support Assistant at St Francis Xavier College, Florey. The successful applicant will have experience working with children who have diverse learning needs. This includes highly capable students requiring extension, students with physical or cognitive disabilities, and students who present behavioural and emotional difficulties. Additionally, the successful applicant will have the initiative and capacity to handle a number of tasks concurrently, working independently and flexibly to adjust to changing situations. The successful applicant must have completed appropriate qualifications in Educational Support or have the willingness to do so.

Please note that this is a part-time temporary position with a negotiable commencement date to 11 December 2020. A pro-rata salary amount will be paid for part-time appointments. Additionally, note that this position is to replace an employee who has taken a leave of absence.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
