St Thomas Aquinas Early Learning and Care Centre is a regional Catholic Early Learning Centre for families in the Belconnen area. It offers a quality preschool education for four-year-olds, catering for children in the year prior to school. The Centre also caters for long day care, opening from 7.30am to 6.00pm.

We have an exciting opportunity for an After School Care Assistant to join our vibrant community. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and possess the ability to manage student behaviour in all contexts. You will also be enthusiastic and driven, and have a strong understanding of Catholic Education values.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.

Please note that this is a part-time temporary position commencing 1 March to 24 December 2020. A pro-rata salary amount will be paid for part-time appointments. Additionally, note that this position was created to fulfill restructuring requirements within the school.
