Salary Range:  $66,494 - $117,060 + Superannuation (based on skills and experience)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Classroom Teacher to join our friendly and vibrant community. To be successful in this role you will have the ability to foster a positive and nurturing school climate in line with the schools Mission statement. You will have highly effective interpersonal skills and competency as a teacher at a variety of year levels. You will also have the capacity to work collaboratively with all groups in the community. 

Essential Criteria

  • A sound understanding of, and commitment to, the goals of Catholic education;

  • The ability to foster a positive and nurturing school climate in line with the school's Mission statement;

  • Competent to teach K-6 and a sound knowledge and understanding of the Key Learning Areas;

  • The capacity to work collaboratively with all groups in the school community;

  • Highly effective communication, team building and problem-solving skills;

  • An awareness of current curriculum theory, pedagogy and research;

  • The ability to incorporate ICT to enhance student outcomes;

  • Commitment and active participation in professional development.
