About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal Education Assistant to join our vibrant and comprehensive team at Carroll College.
To contribute to the mission of the Catholic Education System of the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn by personal example of commitment to service in Aboriginal education, the Aboriginal Education Assistant aims to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with a range of cultural and educational programs, enhance the partnership between families of Aboriginal and/or students and their schools and support teachers and school staffs in matters relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education.

Essential Criteria:
Successful applicants for the position will demonstrate:

- Ability to use discretion and judgement in organising and achieving outcomes in time constraints
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, in particular the ability to relate well to students and to work in teams with staff members
- Initiative and the ability to handle a number of tasks concurrently, working independently and flexibly to adjust to changing situations
