About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) operates in the ACT and NSW, supporting 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). 

The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of schools, ELCs and the CEO through several service areas including Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

The Archdiocesan Schools Office Administrator is responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service assistance. The role involves responding to calls and/or redirecting them to the appropriate recipient, addressing visitor enquiries, and welcoming individuals.

The role completes administrative and clerical tasks to support the day-to-day activities of reception and provides administration support to the teams in the Archdiocesan Schools Office.

Key Responsibilites of the role include:

  • Cover the reception desk and duties when required
  • Provide administrative support to the teams in the Archdiocesan Schools Office
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner

Qualifications and Eligibility   

  • High School diploma with additional specialised training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated experience as an administrator
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
    (Please note these clearances are not required at point of application however are required prior to commencement)
  • Current Drivers Licence.
