About the Role

The Project Officer plays a vital role in the College by providing staff and student support and advice in whole school literacy development and in creating an environment where teaching and learning are valued. The College is seeking a person who is committed to the vision of the College ‘Living the truth, leading with courage, learning for life’ who is invested in and who will promote the mission of Catholic Education. The successful applicant will be an experienced educator, will have demonstrated successful experience in enrichment practice in curriculum and in teaching and learning, will possess initiative, integrity and vision.  The Project Officer will provide expert leadership in literacy, teaching and learning in junior studies, and case management utilising best practice in current research, evidence to meet the needs of learners. As a member of the Curriculum Leadership team, the Project Officer will report to the Assistant Principal Teaching and Learning and to the Principal in realising the vision and mission of the College.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
