About the Role   

As a Religious Education Coordinator, you are entrusted with leading the spiritual and ethical formation of the school community. You oversee the delivery of a rich and engaging curriculum that not only explores faith traditions but also encourages students to think critically about values, purpose, and moral responsibility. Through guiding liturgies, social justice initiatives, and faith-based programs, you help shape a school culture where students are empowered to live with compassion, respect, and integrity.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration

To teach and lead Religious Education in a Catholic school, you must:  

  • Be a practising Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community 
  • Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years’ experience 
  • Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
  • Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
