Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role   

A Teacher Librarian at Mother Teresa School is responsible for contributing to the welfare and the education of the students in the care of the school and for participating in leading, developing, and maintaining the school’s ethos and philosophy. The position supports and implements the vision of the school by advocating and building effective information services and programs that contribute to the development of lifelong learners and ethical, digital citizens. The Teacher Librarian has a vital role within this educational community as a curriculum leader, an information specialist, and an information manager who focuses on learners and learning, teachers and teaching, resourcing the curriculum, facilitating access to information, and developing the physical environment

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance 
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
