About the Role

We are currently looking for a Leader of Learning English to join our inclusive and welcoming community. The role includes a substantive teaching position, with the coordinator required to teach their own class and undertake the normal duties of a teacher.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and community life of the school;
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal format;
  • Work collaboratively as a member of a team and effectively facilitate group interaction;
  • Effectively plan, prioritise, coordinate, and, if necessary, delegate multiple tasks in a timely manner;
  • Use highly developed problem-solving skills and demonstrate emotional maturity;
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage challenging situations with composure and diplomacy;
  • Be a highly competent classroom teacher whose practices reflect current pedagogy and employ a broad range of teaching strategies and learning technologies.
