About the Role 

The Relief Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring a productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. This role requires the ability to adapt quickly to different year levels and subjects, maintaining continuity of education while fostering student engagement and focus. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in diverse classroom settings, contributing to the overall success of the school. This role is suited for educators who demonstrate strong classroom management skills, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting student achievement.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
