About the Role
As a Coordinator at St Monica's Primary School, you have the opportunity to balance teaching responsibilities with effective leadership skills. This role involves overseeing and enhancing teaching quality, guiding curriculum implementation, and ensuring consistency and excellence across programs throughout the school. The Coordinator will support teachers in applying innovative teaching methods, managing student behaviour, organising relief staff, and working closely with colleagues to achieve the school’s annual improvement goals. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation.

Selection Criteria
- A comprehensive understanding of Catalyst initiatives and High Impact Teaching Practices and the ability to provide appropriate support and feedback to teaching staff.
- The capacity to plan and lead initiatives that enhance student learning and wellbeing outcomes and, promote classroom practices that create supportive and safe environments for all students,
- Demonstrated capability to supervise staff across a range of areas, to promote their own and the school’s professional development goals.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills. This includes high-level mediation and conflict resolution skills and interpersonal skills to engage and build community.
- The ability to exercise sound judgement, including dealing with confidential matters.
