About the Role

As a Secondary English/HSIE Teacher, you'll have the unique opportunity to inspire students to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage with the world around them. By combining English language skills with the rich context of History, Society, and Culture, you’ll help students make meaningful connections and develop a deeper understanding of the past, present, and future. This role offers the ultimate chance to make a lasting impact while nurturing the intellectual and personal growth of your students.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and/or Working with Children Check (WWCC) registration.
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) and/or NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) registration.
