About Good Shepherd Primary
Good Shepherd is a Catholic primary school (Kindergarten to Year 6) in Gungahlin, offering a strong foundation for future education. We prioritise child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion while fostering kindness and good manners. Our curriculum balances academics with opportunities in Music, Sport, STEM, and Italian. Known for our community spirit and close ties to the Holy Spirit Parish, we emphasise Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT, ensuring a relevant and engaging education for all students. 
Good Shepherd is part of Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) which operates 56 Catholic Systemic Schools and nine Early Learning Centres across ACT and NSW. 

About the Role
In this role as a Classroom Teacher, you will play a key part in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Success in this position requires highly effective communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to connect meaningfully with students, collaborate seamlessly with fellow educators, and build strong, positive relationships with parents and guardians.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
