About St Mary MacKillop College
St Mary MacKillop College is Canberra’s largest secondary school, operating across two campuses. Years 7 to 9 are based on the Padua Campus (Wanniassa) and Years 10 to 12 are based on the St Peter’s Campus (Isabella Plains). About the Role
The Sport and Physical Education Faculty Assistant is a key member of the Physical Education team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth delivery of sport and physical education programs across the College, with a primary focus at the Padua Campus. This position involves the management and maintenance of PE resources, equipment, and facilities, ensuring safe and efficient use in accordance with College processes. The role supports teaching staff and students in both curricular and co-curricular sporting activities, including event logistics and student supervision. Additionally, the Faculty Assistant facilitates community partnerships through the coordination of sporting facility bookings and liaises with local organisations to enhance sporting opportunities.

Qualifications
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
- Certificate III in Sport and Recreation, Sports Administration or Fitness (or equivalent) will be well regarded, but is not mandatory.
- The possession of or willingness to obtain a Light Rigid (LR) drivers licence classification is a mandatory requirement.
