St Mary MacKillop College is Canberra’s largest secondary school, operating across two campuses. Years 7 to 9 are based on the Padua Campus (Wanniassa) and Years 10 to 12 are based on the St Peter’s Campus (Isabella Plains). About the Role
The Religious Education Teacher offers a meaningful opportunity to lead students in exploring religious beliefs, values, and practices through the lens of the Catholic Tradition. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (to be a Religious Education Teacher), a teacher must:
- Be Catholic;
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
- Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation D – Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
