About the Role 

The Assistant Principal supports the Principal in all aspects of school leadership, including strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves contributing to key decisions, overseeing progress toward school goals, and ensuring continuous improvement through effective use of data and professional development. The Assistant Principal plays a critical part in enhancing school operations and improving student outcomes.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor or Master of Teaching.
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
  • Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies or the willingness to undertake.
  • Academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent).
