About the Role
The position will suit a dedicated and dynamic Religious Education teacher who has the ability and commitment to teach Religious Education from Years 7 to 12. Knowledge and experience in teaching senior years is highly desirable.
The Religious Education faculty is a highly skilled, professional, creative and dynamic team who is passionate about the Religious Education curriculum. In conjunction with teaching the course, the teacher is charged with keeping up to date with changes in the curriculum and developing new resources. Commitment to professional development is essential, as is excellent skills in the use of technology in the classroom.
The successful applicant will have a genuine love of Religious Education and delight in the wonderful exploration of ideas in the classroom. As part of a vibrant team the successful applicant will contribute both professionally and collegially to the Religious Education team. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills will be important, as well as a commitment to enhance learning in all facets of the curriculum.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (to be a Religious Education Teacher), a teacher must:
- Be Catholic;
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
- Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation D – Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
