St John Paul II College (JPC) is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school serving families in the north of Canberra. About the Role    

The Assistant Mathematics Faculty Coordinator works collaboratively with faculty leadership to ensure the effective delivery of mathematics education aligned with curriculum standards and school goals. In this role, you will provide targeted support to faculty members through mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities. You will encourage the adoption of best teaching practices and innovative instructional strategies, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous growth within the mathematics team. By fostering strong communication and collaboration, you will help build a cohesive faculty focused on maximising student outcomes and fostering a love of mathematics.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) 
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
