About the Role 

The Assistant Principal plays a key role in shaping the culture of our school and leading with our values of Live, Love, Learn. The Assistant Principal works in partnership with the Principal to drive school improvement, support staff in delivering evidence-based teaching, and ensure high expectations for student learning. A strong focus on wellbeing and community engagement is central to this role, as is the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community. The Assistant Principal is both a leader of learning and a role model of our Catholic faith, guiding the school with integrity, collaboration, and care.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
  • Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community
  • Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest
  • Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
