About the Role
The Canteen and Shop Assistant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the school canteen, ensuring the provision of healthy, nutritious, and appealing food choices to students and staff. Working under the direction of the Canteen Manager, this role involves assisting with food preparation, customer service, stock management, and ensuring the canteen is kept clean, safe, and compliant with food safety standards and regulations. The Canteen and Shop Assistant helps create a friendly and welcoming environment, supports efficient service during busy periods, and promotes healthy eating habits within the school community.
This position manages canteen operations across the Lowe Street and Macquoid Street campuses.
