About the Role 

The Classroom Support Assistant is an integral member of the classroom support team, working collaboratively with teachers to ensure that students with diverse learning needs can access, engage with, and participate fully in all aspects of the curriculum and school activities. The role involves providing tailored support that promotes academic progress, social development, and student wellbeing, enabling learners to build the skills, confidence, and independence required for successful learning and active participation in the school community.

Qualifications and Eligibility 

  • NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Certificate III in School-based Education Support or be undertaking an Initial Teacher Education university program of study
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
