About the Role   

A Classroom Support Assistant works collaboratively with classroom teachers in supporting students with diverse learning needs. In this role, you will assist students individually, in small groups, and within classroom settings to help them access the curriculum, build social skills, and achieve their learning goals. Responsibilities include preparing specialised materials, providing personal care support where needed, participating in school activities and excursions, and working alongside teachers and therapists to implement individualised education plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by fostering independence, confidence, and active participation in school life.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in School-Based Education Support
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registrations
