About the Role    

A Classroom Support Assistant provides practical and educational support to teachers and students to enhance learning outcomes. The role involves assisting with lesson delivery, working with individuals or small groups of students, preparing classroom materials, and helping maintain a positive, inclusive, and organised learning environment. They play a key part in supporting student engagement, reinforcing instructions, and ensuring all learners can participate effectively in classroom activities.

Qualifications  

  • NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) 
  • Certificate III in School-based Education Support or be undertaking an Initial Teacher Education university program of study
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
