Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status: Full-time and Part-time appointments available |15.20 to 68.40 hours per fortnight | Contract for the remainder of the 2026 school year 
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Role   

The Classroom Teacher delivers high‑quality, curriculum‑aligned teaching in a supportive and engaging learning environment. You will plan and assess learning, provide meaningful feedback, and use a range of strategies to meet diverse student needs. Working collaboratively with colleagues and families, you will contribute to curriculum development and uphold strong professional standards.
 
This appointment is temporary as it is to replace an employee who is on parental leave and the incumbent is entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
