Salary Range: $83,872 to $141,997 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role    

The Classroom Teacher plans, delivers, and assesses teaching and learning programs to support student achievement and wellbeing. Maintains a safe and inclusive learning environment, monitors student progress, communicates with parents and carers, collaborates with colleagues, and fulfils administrative and professional responsibilities in line with school policies and curriculum requirements

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and Eligibility 

  • Bachelor of Education/Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation 
  • NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) 
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
