About the Role
The Classroom Teacher transforms the classroom into a space of scientific discovery, where complex concepts spark curiosity and hands-on experiments fuel excitement. In this role, you'll use innovative techniques and curriculum-aligned resources to make science accessible and inspiring, weaving real-world applications into lessons to show students the wonders of science in everyday life. Through regular assessments and personalised feedback, you'll support each student's journey, tracking progress with care and celebrating milestones along the way. By collaborating and communicating with colleagues and parents, you'll create a strong support network around each student. We are committed to your professional growth, and you will have ongoing professional development and accreditation opportunities to expand your expertise and stay at the forefront of educational best practices to bring fresh insights and boundless enthusiasm to the classroom.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
