About the Role
Classroom Teachers play a key role in inspiring and supporting students through engaging, evidence-based lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs. They create inclusive environments where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed, using ongoing assessment and feedback to guide progress and maintain accurate records of student development. Teachers collaborate with colleagues to share best practice, work in partnership with families to support learning, and actively contribute to the wider school community. The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG), teachers are supported with regular professional learning and accreditation opportunities, reflecting CECG’s commitment to excellence, growth, and continuous improvement in education.
There are two temporary positions available one is replacing an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009. The other is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.
This position is full-time from January to September 2026, and will continue on a part-time basis (60.8 hours per fortnight) from October to December 2026.
