About the Role   

The Coordinator is a key leadership role that combines classroom teaching with strategic oversight of teaching and learning across the school. This position is central to ensuring the successful implementation of the school’s curriculum, providing guidance and support to teachers in planning, assessment, and instructional practice, and fostering a deep understanding of catalyst strategies that drive student growth. This role plays a critical part in promoting a consistent and evidence-informed approach to pedagogy, while also managing key operational areas such as student behaviour processes and daily relief staffing. Working closely with school leaders and teaching teams, the Coordinator actively contributes to the achievement of the school’s Annual Improvement Plan, building a culture of collaboration, professional learning, and excellence.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
