About the Role    

The Coordinator (Stage 6) plays a pivotal role in shaping the senior school experience, balancing the responsibilities of an inspiring educator with the vision of a dedicated leader. Beyond teaching, they drive excellence by overseeing teaching and learning across Years 11 and 12, guiding innovative curriculum implementation, and fostering a deep understanding of HSC and senior pathway requirements. With a commitment to student success, they support positive behaviour management, guide students through subject selection and post-school planning, and empower relief staff. Through collaboration and strategic leadership, they work alongside others to bring the school's annual improvement plan to life, creating an enriching environment where senior students and staff can thrive.

This appointment is temporary as it is to replace an employee who is on parental leave and the incumbent is entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Education/Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation 
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
