Salary Range: $72,828 full-time equivalent plus superannuation
Employment Status: Part-time | 32.5 hours per fortnight | 12 month contract

About Holy Spirit Early Learning Centre 

Holy Spirit Early Learning Centre is situated in the heart of Gungahlin on the Holy Spirit Primary School site. We aim to provide all children with a learning environment that is play based, engaging, respectful and developmentally appropriate, enabling each child to begin their journey of being lifelong learners and responsible, compassionate global citizens. Rated 'Exceeding', against the National Quality Standards, the Preschool offers a dedicated preschool program for 4-year-old children prior to entering Primary School.

About the Role

Preschool Educators inspire young minds, nurture curiosity and build strong foundations with creativity and passion. They work alongside the Early Childhood Teacher and Early Learning Centre Director to facilitate teaching and learning, foster relationships and partnerships, and ensure that children feel safe and develop a strong sense of identity. Holy Spirit Early Learning Centre is looking for a vibrant and supportive educator to join our team. We are a Preschool looking for someone to work with a supportive team to engage and help educate the children in our ELC. We are a play based learning program that values risky and nature play opportunities.

This appointment is temporary as it dependent on funding from the government.

Qualifications

  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP); and
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care; or
  • Certificate III in Education Support (birth to 12); or
  • Certificate III in Children’s Services.
