Employment Status: Full-time
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident 
Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.   
Start Date: January 2026, Term One

About the Role 

The Humanities Teacher inspires students to explore history, geography, civics, and culture through engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that develop curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness, using a variety of evidence-based teaching strategies and resources to create meaningful learning experiences, providing regular assessment and feedback to support student progress, working collaboratively with colleagues and families to enhance learning outcomes, and upholding professional standards through ongoing development and accreditation.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
