Salary Range: $72,782 full-time equivalent plus superannuation
Employment Status: Part-time| 30 hours per fortnight

About the Role   

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all school buildings, facilities, and grounds are safe, functional, and well‑presented to support a positive learning environment. The role involves completing general repairs, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and coordinating with contractors for specialised work when required. With a proactive and organised approach, the Maintenance Officer identifies issues early, prioritises tasks effectively, and maintains accurate records to support compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in the smooth daily operation of the school by ensuring classrooms, outdoor areas, and shared spaces remain clean, secure, and in optimal condition for students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications and Eligibility 

  • Completion of a trade qualification or Certificate III (or equivalent knowledge and practical experience)
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
