Salary Range: $81,439 to $137,861 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service. 
Employment Status: Full-time

About the Role   

The Relief Classroom Teacher fosters learning environments where every student can thrive. Using evidence-based teaching strategies and curriculum-aligned resources, teachers design and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs. The role involves regularly assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records to inform teaching and learning. Collaboration is essential, working closely with colleagues to plan lessons, engage with families to support student growth and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture. We are committed to supporting ongoing professional development, ensuring high-quality teaching and a lasting impact on student learning.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications and Eligibility  

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
