About the Role   

The Religious Education Coordinator is entrusted with leading the spiritual and ethical formation of the school community. The Religious Education Coordinator oversees the delivery of a rich and engaging curriculum that not only explores faith traditions but also encourages students to think critically about values, purpose, and moral responsibility. The role is also responsible for guiding liturgies, social justice initiatives, and faith-based programs, to shape a school culture where students are empowered to live with compassion, respect, and integrity.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration 
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant must:

  • Be a practicing Catholic; 
  • Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and 
  • Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
