Salary Range: $79,057 to $133,846 plus $19,552 (NSW Coordinator 2 Allowance) plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role   

The Religious Education Coordinator works in partnership with the Principal and Leadership Team to provide vital educational and spiritual guidance to foster a Christ-centred community rooted in Catholic values. In this senior leadership position, you will be dedicated to nurturing and integrating Catholic teaching and perspectives across all curriculum areas to ensure faith and learning can thrive together. You will actively support the spiritual growth and well-being of students, staff and families to encourage a deeper relationship with God. We are seeking a practising Catholic with a deep commitment to the faith and its values to inspire and guide our school community in this meaningful position.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration.
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.

To teach and lead Religious Education in a Catholic school, you must:

  • Be a practising Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community 
  • Must be a qualified Teacher with a minimum of five years’ experience 
  • Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and 
  • Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
