Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role   

St Mary MacKillop College is seeking a highly effective and passionate Religious Education teacher to join our staff. The successful applicant will create a safe and supportive learning environment, apply engaging pedagogical practices, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. Qualifications and Eligibility

• Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration

To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, a teacher must: 

• Practicing Catholic; 
• Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and 
• Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation D – Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
