St Mary MacKillop College is Canberra’s largest secondary school, operating across two campuses: Years 7 to 9 at our Padua Campus in Wanniassa, and Years 10 to 12 at our St Peter’s Campus in Isabella Plains. About the Role    

The role involves delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Science lessons that meet the diverse needs of students while fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities include using a variety of teaching strategies, providing timely and constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues. A thorough understanding of the Australian Curriculum, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to collaboration and professional learning are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration  
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
