About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services Schools and ELCs.   

The CEO provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs. These Service Areas include; Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

The Strategy Associate plays a key role in supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives across Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn (CECG). Working closely with the Strategy team and Executive Leadership, this role involves conducting financial feasibility assessments, data analysis, market research, and structured problem solving to inform decision-making.

You will contribute to the development of CECG’s capital strategy, including enrolment and demographic assessments, and support planning for school expansions and new sites. The role also involves preparing clear, targeted communications for a range of stakeholders and contributing to strategic planning, enterprise reporting, and project delivery. This is a varied and impactful role suited to someone who enjoys analytical thinking, research, and working collaboratively to shape the future of Catholic education.

Qualifications   

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or related field are essential.
  • Extensive experience within a similar role; experience in the education sector is desirable.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registrations
  • Driver’s License.
