Salary Range: $85,665 full-time equivalent plus superannuation.  
Employment Status: Part-time | 36 hours per fortnight  
Eligibility: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Role    

The TAS and Hospitality Classroom Support Assistant provides essential operational and administrative support to TAS and VET staff, ensuring practical classes and the Commercial Kitchen run smoothly and safely. You’ll assist with food resourcing, equipment preparation, stock control, and compliance with safety standards, while maintaining a clean and organised learning environment. This role also supports teachers during practical lessons and contributes to the broader life of the College.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Holds current First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake)
  • Qualifications and experience within the Hospitality Industry
  • Food Safe Handling Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
