Salary Range: $81,299 plus superannuation (based on skills and experience)

About the Role  

The Technical Support Officer provides Level 2 ICT support across our ACT Catholic schools, working independently to diagnose and resolve technical issues and assist staff in the effective use of ICT systems. The role involves regular travel to school sites and requires a strong technical foundation, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage support tasks autonomously. As a key representative of the ICT team, you will uphold high standards of professionalism and deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction. We are seeking candidates with proven experience in a service desk or technical support environment who can confidently deliver Level 2 support in dynamic, school-based settings.

About Us  

The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to Schools and ELCs. The CEO includes seven Service Areas: Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology, and People and Culture.

Qualifications  

  • Diploma or similar certification in Information Technology and/or equivalent experience in Level 2 technical level support.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registrations.
  • Driver’s License.
