About the Role
The Administrative Officer is responsible for contributing to the smooth operation of the school by providing professional, efficient, and effective clerical support. This position is integral to maintaining the day-to-day functions of the school, including managing communications, handling inquiries, organising records, and assisting staff and students. The Administrative Officer upholds the highest standards of professionalism while contributing to a positive, well-organised school environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive support to senior staff and associated school committees.
- Apply inventory and purchasing control procedures to ensure compliance.
- Draft correspondence, including in relation to confidential matters.
- Implement enrolment processes and maintenance of the student database.
- Coordinate school functions and events.
- Assist with the induction of new staff including Casual Teachers.
- Prepare the school budget, preparation of monthly finance accounts/ GST reports, school fee billing and payment and recovery of school fees and manage cash management accounts.
- Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registration.
- First Aid Certificate (Or the willingness to obtain)
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to operate a range of office equipment and adapt to technology.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional school-based software packages.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to and active engagement in personal and professional development.
