About the Role   

The Assistant Principal, Strategy and Staff is a key member of the leadership team, supporting the Principal in collaborative decision-making, strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role oversees the delivery of initiatives, tracks progress, and ensures continuous improvement through targeted professional development and data-driven practices that strengthen school performance and maximise student achievement.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor or Master of Teaching.
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies or the willingness to undertake.
  • Academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent).
  • Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community.
  • Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest.
  • Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
