About the Role
The Assistant Principal plays a vital role in fostering a culture of excellence, equity, and faith-based education. This position supports the Principal in collaborative decision-making, strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation to enhance school effectiveness and student achievement. The Assistant Principal is a value-driven leader who promotes continuous improvement through data-informed practice and professional development. Qualifications and Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching
- NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies or be due to complete
- Academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent)
- Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest
