About Us  

Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services Schools and ELCs.   

The CEO provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools and ELCs. These Service Areas include; Education and Performance Improvement, Catholic Identity, School and Family Services, Strategy and Special Projects, Finance and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology and People and Culture. 

About the Role  

The Assurance Advisor supports Catholic Education by coordinating compliance reporting and consolidating assurance information to give management clear oversight of organisational compliance. Acting as the central point for systems and reporting, this role works across all business areas to strengthen accountability and continuous improvement.

Key duties include:

  • Coordinate and maintain organisation-wide compliance assurance reporting using the Protecht system.
  • Monitor compliance with legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance matters across the organisation.
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with investigations into compliance breaches and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications   

  • Any relevant quals
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registrations
  • Driver’s License.
