Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role 

The Behavioural Science Teacher empowers students to investigate psychology, sociology, and human behavior through engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons that foster curiosity, analytical thinking, and a deeper understanding of individual and social dynamics. They use a range of evidence‑based instructional strategies and real‑world examples to create meaningful learning experiences, provide ongoing assessment and constructive feedback to support student growth, collaborate closely with colleagues and families to enhance educational outcomes, and uphold professional standards through continuous development and accreditation.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
