About the Role

The Classroom Support Assistant plays a key role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment by working alongside teachers to ensure all students can fully engage in classroom and school life. This role involves providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, adapting learning activities, and encouraging strategies that promote confidence, independence, and social-emotional development. 

A temporary appointment will be filled to replace an employee on parental leave and the incumbent is entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in School-Based Education Support; or
  • Studying an Initial Teacher Education; and 
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
