Salary Range: $81,439 to $137,861 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role   

The Classroom Support Teacher plays a vital role in fostering an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment. In addition to carrying out the core responsibilities of a classroom teacher, such as planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, assessing and reporting on student learning, and maintaining effective classroom management, this position also supports students with additional learning needs to ensure every child can succeed. Using evidence-based teaching strategies and high-quality resources, you will design and implement personalised learning programs, conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records to track student progress. Collaboration is key to this role, involving strong partnerships with colleagues, families and carers to support holistic student development. We are committed to supporting your professional growth, and you will have the opportunity to engage in ongoing professional development, learning and accreditation opportunities.

The spilt between Classroom Support Teacher and Classroom Teacher duties will vary year to year in response to the number and needs of students requiring additional support.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation
