Salary Range: $80,184 to $130,910 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About the Role 

The Classroom Support Teacher provides key assistance in the classroom by working closely with subject teachers to support students’ learning and development. This role involves helping students access the curriculum through tailored strategies, small group instruction, and individual support, particularly for those with learning needs or other challenges. The Classroom Support Teacher helps maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment, reinforces key learning objectives, and plays an important part in fostering student engagement and progress across various subjects.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing the mission of JPC by fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Through active collaboration with teachers and staff, they will help create opportunities for students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
