Salary Range: $82,796 to $136,848 full-time equivalent plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status: Full-time | Two Term Contract

About the Role   

The Classroom Teacher delivers quality teaching and learning aligned with the Australian Curriculum, creating an engaging and supportive environment where all students can thrive. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess and monitor student progress, and use a range of strategies to meet diverse learning needs. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with colleagues and families, contribute to curriculum development, and maintain high professional standards through ongoing learning and accreditation.

This appointment is temporary as it is to replace an employee who is on parental leave and the incumbent is entitled to return to work early in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
